Multitube Unarmoured Cable is an indoor/outdoor cable. To stop water from getting inside, it has several loose tubes packed with fibres and thixotropic jelly. Better tensile strength and antibuckling characteristics are offered by fibre reinforced plastic, which also has a cable flooding compound placed in the core’s interstices to stop water intrusion. available in LSZH and UVHDPE sheaths.
